Aaron and Michelle - the ultimate couple. Their connection is the most honest and genuine I think I have actually ever stumbled across. It's quite unexplainable really, and I suppose that's the joy of it. Every couple I meet have their own way of doing things, they own 'quirks' and love language. I couldn't quite put my finger on what Aaron (now referred to as Az) and Mich had, until a couple of hours in to their wedding. It was symmetry.
Everything felt balanced and right. If you're a friend of theirs - I'm sure you'll agree, they ooze sass, style and grace. There is never an awkward moment. They both met all those years ago at a DJ competition - not crumping on the d-floor, but up there behind the decks - their confidence yet humble approach to life is addictive. Which was visible at their wedding, with their awesome crew sharing the day with them.
When it came to their wedding day, all of the above was mirrored. The day was just cool. It was almost the relaxed calm before the storm - the was a massive party brewing - you could sense it! The wedding party got themselves ready and Aaron and his handsome gang wore Jack London everything - all class. Totally understated, but so sharp!
The girls looked incredible in an outrageously amazing coral Paper Scissors Frock dresses with Cygnet Bay Pearls - this with the burnt grass in the Cowramup fields literally made my lens melt. Mich was wearing a stunning Hobnob dressed that hugged all the right areas - this teamed with the seriously striking hair, pearl earrings and Wittner Shoes, reflected her character perfectly.
There was nothing rushed about the wedding! Everyone took their time and it ran so smoothly… The bridal party rolled in late afternoon to the Cowramup Brewery - the bridal party swayed down the aisle to a James Blake tune (I know - so cool….) and within 20 minutes, the couple were wed and Michelles stunning Ross Ezekiel ring (which Aaron designed himself…) was glimmering in the late afternoon light. The venue was styled just enough, by the fabulous folk from Zest Styling, including stunning string lights from Empire Events.
The beautiful owners at Treeton Estate let us roam their fields to take some snapshots of the bridal party and relaxed couple. There was certainly no serious going-ons here. You would of been able to hear the laughter back at the venue!
As the South West afternoon disappeared - the tempo lifted and dancing bodies made their way on the floor. With their own DJ kit nestle in the corner of the room blasting some seriously good tunes - the night was set. The stunning dessert table by Sweet Peach teamed with delicious local wines and brews, kept the energy levels high.
Az & Mich - thankyou for sharing your day with me. I know you both will have a long and happy life together.
