Kelli + Tim were hitched on a grey, cloudy and windy Saturday afternoon, but boy oh boy, was it a light, bright and colourful day.
Kelli and her sister had a seriously chilled morning at The Terrace Hotel in Perth, and Tim and the boys had the house to themselves. Their little man Toby and his new found skill (of walking) hooned around the house and was revelling in all the excitement.
A laid back and casual soirée, these two wed on the rooftop of the Mount Flora Museum in Waterman's Bay. Katie Cooper Floral Designs did the most stunning blooms at both venues and was the wonder woman behind Kelli's stunning bouquet. The colours, the wild greenery, the ribbons - it was so totally on point. Toby and his cousin led Kelli down the aisle with her parents on either side, and Toby's little gentle tumble mid-way down the aisle (we'll blame the wind) got everyone up off their seats and laughing together.
After an intimate ceremony, with a small bridal party in tow (Kelli's sister and Tim's best mate) - we made our way on down to the windy and wild Hamerlsey Pools - which side note: is usually the calmest and quietest of bays, and also where Kelli + Tim bring Toby to swim. After a quick hop across on the rocks, everyone enjoyed a sneaky champers and then after a quick hair adjustment and sand shake-off, it was par-tay time.
The reception was held at Kelli + Tim's all-time-favourite local - Clarke's of North Beach. These two are pretty much part of the furniture down at Clarke's - so it only seemed right to celebrate their wedding there, with all their favourite humans close by. After a delicious meal, scrumptious wine (I may of had two...) and some incredibly heart felt speeches, the tables were cleared and Clarke's turned into a full blown dance-party. T'was epic!
So stoked I was able to be a part of this intimate, family orientated celebration. The presence of each and every guest was felt, and especially those who weren't there.
Kelli, Tim + Toby, thank you oh-so-much for having me.
